Custom orders are a tricky thing to get to grips with. A chat with a decent shaper about your surfing abilities, the waves you usually ride and the desired outcome of your new plaything will give the shaper enough info to refine a blank to suit your requirements. Ours is not to wonder why, and we humble, non-shaping folk are in no position to question the shaper’s talents, so there is little we can offer to better their extensive skills in crafting our investments. Colour and design, on the other hand, is anyone’s game. Quite literally anything is possible in terms of colours and designs and it is up to no one but ourselves to figure out. Surfboard shapes can be wrapped up in 30 minutes, but we have seen the design work take weeks of thought and research.
